Harris, Esmond, Heaslet pick up victories

by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (September 3, 2021) - Noah Harris and James Esmond picked up their first wins of the season while Keith Heaslet won for second straight week in Friday Night Lights competition Friday at Tulsa Speedway.

Heaslet started on the pole and went the distance to record his second Factory Stock win of the season. He was the only driver to escape the hard charging Wesley Knebel.

Knebel was allowed to start on the rear of the field in his Mini Stock due to a lack of competitors in his division. Knebel worked his way through the field and passed points leader Dalton Garrison for second in the closing laps. Knebel was not able to overtake Heaslet as the checkered waved. Garrison finished third.

Noah Harris became the sixth different champ / 305 sprint feature winner of the season. A battle for second raged behind him but Harris went the distance in the 20-lapper. Scott Roberts won the battle for second with points leader Joshua Tyre finishing third.

James Esmond took over the Modified points lead with his first victory. Aaron Moss came from sixth starting position to finish second. Richard Magee was third.
